Trashiest Mardi Gras I have ever seen and there is NO WAY around it.

Well there are a few ways around town to avoid the parades, if you stick to Bayou Blue, 311, and MLK.

This year the first 3 Krewes took almost 6 hours to go about 4 1/2 miles.

They had someone that got beat up during the Hercules parade. Then they had a shooting at Aquarius. So lots of New Orleans lite crowd action down the bayou is possible.

I rode in Hercules for six years. There was a fight between krewe members on the float or a krewe member with a crowd member every year. It was awesome.

One guy on the float had a vendetta list every year. He knew exactly where the person(s) who wronged him were going to be and when we got close, him and his float buddies would fire full bags of beads at this dudes' sworn enemies. You had to be there, but it was funny as hell.

If we could somehow eliminate all the trashy people from mmardi gras and just let the obnoxious middle and upper class people in.
