re: Spider-man Noir live action series coming to Amazon

The actual Spider Man had a 40 year run on multiple comics. If you’re trying to develop a series why you wouldn’t use that as a basis and instead go to some multiverse variant is beyond me. Sure the movies have made hit or miss stabs at it but you could really do some cool stuff by starting in the present and being faithful to the storyline. If you think the origin has been beaten to death, start from when PP gets his job at the Bugle.
