They aren't even close lol. They need something like 10k more signatures just to hit the minimum number. Ask any past recall organizer and they will tell you you need at least 50% more than that required number because a huge percentage will get thrown out for one reason or another.

You need 150% or more to be successful and they might not even hit 100%

The recall campaign should use this as an opportunity to get all the names infront of the public so people can make sure their name was recorded.

Too many idiots signed twice because they didn't think their first time was legit.

It was always going to be a long shot, regardless of who organized it or who funded it. Recalls are generally unlikely to succeed especially given LA state law, and Orleans Parish is one of the last places something like this could ever work, for a lot of reasons.

I will give them credit -- they are working like hell to get the signatures. They had two people at Whole Foods uptown this morning with clipboards trying to get signatures.
