we thought we beat a good AU team on the road and we thought we found a QB that could manage a game and make a few plays. Who knew his pick-6 in that game would only open the flood gates? I think that game gave a lot of people false hopes and that may be the reason why so many fans are acting like idiots.

You can go back and search, but I said this the night of the game. Don't write Hatch off, because Lee could show up as the qb in the first and throw pick 6's. Everyone was ready to bury Hatch and never let him play again. I would bench Lee and he would not play again. I know this may be bad, but the guy has 6 pick 6's, which is unheard of. He has cost us at least one game and possibly two. Personally, I feel bad for the kid, but we need to do what is best for the program, not what is best for JL. If Jefferson blows, than at least we gave him a chance. You just don't know.

Why are you hating? How many more pics does JL have to throw to give someone else a chance. Did anyone think Herb Tyler would do shite for LSU. I don't recall anyone saying that. Look at what he did and went on to do. Look at Terrell Pryor. I just don't get the loyality of sticking with JL. I know he is a RS freshman, so was Bradford. I am asking to give the kid a chance. Lee has had his and f'ed it up. I blame most of that on the coaches, not Lee. He is 19. I didn't know dick when I was his age. The coaches should know what to do and it isn't working. Just give Jefferson a chance. Don't wait till next year, if Lee continues this and then we have another year we will have to break someone in at qb.

next year rantards will defend JJ's lack of playing time to him not having any experience.

how can you get experience if you aren't allowed on the field?

Hatch doesn't make the throw to Byrd for the TD...he has no deep threat at ALL.

I said nothing about Hatch throwing the deep ball. Everyone said we should start Lee, he is the savior, etc. Seems that this has not come true.

LOL

This is so true

Reminds me of the old joke they told about the UH baskeball coach in the "phi-slamma-jamma" days:

Coach Lewis complained at a press conference that he had to play most of the last half with only four players on the court because he didn't have anyone with experience to send in.

Not me - I never liked Lee. Always preferred Hatch, but then again I have never been in love with QBs whose only talent is to throw the ball a long way.

Lee never looked like he knew what was happening - or even IF anything was happening - or if it was happening, who it was happening to.

I meant to say most wanted Lee to start. I just said wait to see what happens before you make him the starter. Now see what Lee has done. I can't believe we are in the position that is RP fuks up, we have no backup. We should have been prepared for this.

I agree...I liked Lee at first and thought he had potential. But he has made some stupid decisions on the field that cost us. I am okay putting Jefferson in and trying something different..I was disappointed we didn't play him a little against Alabama...I've already written this year off, let's prepare for next year and get Jefferson and Lee better trained up for a dynamic duo next year...spread the play evenly for the remaining games..it's like Terrell Pryor...Who cares if we lose right now, let's see something exciting with some potential...
