I don't believe hand written wills/codicils need to be notarized, but if the signature is 'irregular' as Priscilla claims, then it can be disqualified. It could be different in TN, though.

In Louisiana a will must be written entirely in the testator's own handwriting, dated and signed. If any of these requirements are not met the will is void.
