I have it really bad, too. Started about 15 years ago. I'm a no-go through tunnels and most bridges. I had no problem doing a 100+mph on the spillway, Causeway or tunnels when I was young. Now, no way. Wife has to go on long trips with me or I fly. She drives across the difficult bridges or through a tunnel and then I jump back into the driver's seat. Sucks. I am looking at vehicles with self driving capabilities for my next vehicle.

By the way, the first time it ever hit me was in the Baltimore Harbor tunnel.
Scary as hell...dark and super tight. Tunnel came out of nowhere and I wasn't expecting it. I almost stopped in the tunnel and left the rental car. I was covered in sweat doing about 5mph by the time I exited.
