just so when he does end up being great I can say I told you so.... and if he doesnt end up great, then i can just be that crazy guy who knows nothing. besides we should support him since he is obviously our starter rain or shine.

You and Lee have fun with all that my fellow Pinevillian. I am going to cast my lot with Mr. Sheppard. I know, I know, he's in high school, but he can't be any worse than this.

There's no choice really. JJ can play some but he can't possibly start yet.

i like the idea of being a football prophet, and if i am wrong then we are all unhappy because our team has gone to crap if he doesnt improve over the next few years

Just curious...any idea why JL seems hesitant to run the ball when 8 or 10 yds could result....instead he throws. Any clues?

At this point it's just funny.

Screw beachballs and pompoms, they should have a cheer ready for his next pick-six. The crowd should give him a standing ovation as he runs off the field tipping his helmet.

frick it, have fun with it.

He's slow and it may look like 8 or 10 yards but I think it's more like 3. I don't think he's afraid to take hits - just doesn't trust his legs.

I saw him try to run and thought he could make it but he seems to running with bricks in his pants. I haven't seen him scramble for positive yardage yet.

Hmmmmn. A slow QB. One who doesn't trust his legs. Doesn't sound like the caliber of QB LSU is used to. We're in a pickle gang.

Lee couldnt even start in an over 70 flag football league with birth certificate proving he was 70.

I don't think it's that he's slow, he just doesn't have the mindset for it. Hell Jamarkus was slower than any QB I've seen.

What if Lee doesn't improve and is not the answer? I don't think we can afford to assume Lee will get better. We need a plan B and it starts with giving Jefferson significant playing time.

He is a kid and his on the job training is in front of 93,000 that think LSU should never lose. We knew the QB position would struggle this year when RP was rightfully shown the door. Give him a break, he will get better.

Im sticking with Lee too

Anyone who thinks he was the only reason we lost that game is dumb. He was one reason and maybe the biggest, but not the only reason.

Jarret Lee has the potential to be a great quarterback, but if you throw 4 ints. to 1 td in a game and you have more ints. than tds in your career thus far,you can not play.

He has all the mechanics to be great,he could be great, but he throws the ball into coverage for no reason at all.Les miles must know this.Jarret Lee should sit down and watch Jordan Jefferson play a while.JJ has more potential than lee and hatch combined. If you have ever seen JJ play,he is absolutely rediculous. He also is faster than the two,he fits into crowtons offense.
