Unfortunately, this is LSU's main, and typically, only consideration in making decisions. Hence the shitty deal with Aramark, the high concession stand prices, ticket increases, tv packages through ESPN, and all the other expenses associated with supporting LSU as a fan. At some point, LSU needs to realize the fans are half of what makes LSU sports so great and start making decisions in consideration of such.

LSU football is one of the most profitable industries in college sports, so I don't think we are struggling to pay the bills. For once, it would be nice for LSU to do something that benefits the fans, although maybe not the biggest money maker.

At some point the AD might want to pause and consider maybe Less Is More. Perhaps opening from Seattle to Syracuse and Green Bay to UCLA, not mentioning out of state “locals”, it might need a rest to the fans benefits. Plus, opening away isn’t always helpful. Don’t remember us ever adopting a ‘We’ll play anybody, anytime, anywhere’ motif, not that we couldn’t carry that out successfully. Personally I’ve always favored ‘home and away’.
