Just subscribed to the YT channel, could read and watch these all day. Me and my friend live in Washington parish and are river bass fisherman but we’ve made several trips to the rigolets marina launch in attempts to catch reds/specks. We never do very well at all and end every trip catching a bunch of bass so the all day trips aren’t a waste. Then we’ll see Chas upload a video on dockside tv the same day and see him limit out lol. It’s so frustrating but videos/blogs like this help us learn.

Dude, this is how I grew up fishing and I still love it. I would walk the banks of the dugdemona river up in Winn Parish a few weekends out of the year and of all the things I wish I could still do from my childhood that's one of them.

And yeah, I'll be honest, the Rigolets area is hit or miss for me. What I can say is South Shore Marina is where I launch when I fish that area because it gives me access to the Rigolets and to the Wall in Chalmette. Also, if conditions are right, you can cross Borne and get into the Biloxi Marsh.

One note though - Chas can pick his days and has 40 years of experience doing that. Hard to compare yourself against that.
