He was already engaged before he even had possession of the ball. The defender jarred it loose before he even fell out of bounds. He didn't maintain possession and as soon as he hit the ground it came out. It's an easy call.

The ball was between his legs with neither hand on it, when he hit the ground out of bounds; he then quickly secured it, but he was out of bounds by then, so it was the correct call

To me, 3 feet down and tucked on his hip in end zone = play over. The strip and subsequent bobble mean nothing at that point. Based on the 3rd foot coming down rule.
