Similar thing happened to my wife a few years ago and BOA was the culprit then as well. Big difference for us is I still use Navy Federal and it's the best bank in the world. I told them and their lawyers hammered BOA and ECSO until they turned over the culprits banking info. Navy Fed told us point blank these criminals use BOA, Wells Fargo and Citibank because they don't give a shite. There is account info somewhere you just need someone on your side to get it. It doesn't help that Wells Fargo is just as shitty or worse.
