He does not throw because he cannot decipher the defense. Who knows, maybe he does not understand the passing concepts either.

That's your assumption. Personally, I think the same thing happened to him that happened to Jarrett Lee. Threw a lot of picks and it messed with him. He's overly cautious with the football now. Being more comfortable with the coaching staff, gameplan, and his teammates leads to more trust which leads to more chances taken.
