Exactly.

If you're going to get paid like a professional, then the scholarship signing should be a contract … a two year contract. This still allows for "free agency" after two years.

2) What college freshman (non-athletes) doesn't have doubts or questions that first year or two? But if a University is investing millions of dollars into the program you signed up for, you should be able to commit for two years.
