Been beekeeping for a couple of years without much success due to losing bees.

I will be trying the top bar method and need to get rid of my Langstrom bee boxes. Does anyone have a good suggestion as to where I might be able to sale this equipment.

Where are you located?

Craigslist?

Have you dug deep into why you are losing hives? I wouldn't think changing up the type of hive you have would make a big difference.

located in the central Louisiana area.

I think Varroa mites are getting me. From here on out I'll be catching wild swarms which have a resistance to mites. Also from what I have read the top bar bar method is more hands off.

What kind of testing and treatment have you done?

You could also introduce some VSH genetics into your yard with a Mated Queen near you. You can pick up queens from their Jennings yard or have them shipped. If you want a nuc instead they have a yard in Bunkie too.
