re: 1st time ski trip recommendations?

Just want to second Ski Cooper. I live up here and have multiple passes, but this is a perfect mountain to learn on and has terrain for all skill levels. Beginner and intermediate runs are wide and crowds are minimal even busy isn't crowded.

The trade off is in non-skiing activities. Leadville is fine, but not Breck as a "ski town"

Eta: also where 10th Mountain Division trained for WW2, so ski on history.
