Remembering LSU Legend Billy Cannon
Watching the Halloween run - even in real time in full gear - it certainly doesn't appear he'd be capable of 9.4/100yd. That said, still the greatest in Tiger folklore.

It's pretty well-attested that Cannon ran sub-10s 100 yd dashes. He clocked a 9.9s to win the SEC 100 yd track championship. This isn't folklore at any level.
I might also note he may be the only Tiger ever to have:
Scored a rushing TD
Receive a TD pass
Throw a TD pass
Return a KO for a TD
Return a punt for a TD
Kick a PAT
Punt
Intercept a pass (he played both ways).
