You don't want to split the whole pot when looking at projections, you'd want to split the 1st place winnings.

In your example, 1st place should get 340 and 2nd place should get 160. You're essentially discounting the normal 1st place winnings by 15% and giving the excess to 2nd place.

I would set it up team A would get 85% of 1st place payout and 15% of 2nd place payout.

Team B gets 15% of 1st place and 85% of 2nd.
