The whole country and world has a character flaw of worshipping celebrities. Whether that be movie celebrities, sports celebrities, politicians, et al. Not a new occurrence either. Monarchies have been celebrated for forever. Guess its engrained in our dna.

Chances are, in a given day, you'll walk past someone who is more worthy of being celebrated than the vast majority of "celebrities".

It’s a sad indictment against our society how many people worship and respect people who make a living playing make-believe.

Hollywood worship is on its way out the door. But worship of politicians (of ALL people) seems to be replacing them.

The current Sports Celeb worship-fest, Jock-Sniffers Inc is now totally out of control and cringe (Thanks ESPN-ABC-Disney and NFL Network.)
