Scalise is no Jim Jordan, but IMO he'd still be better than Boehner, Ryan, and certainly McCarthey.

This is my prediction as well. And my assessment.
If anything, Scalise is the most palatable alternative to McCarthy that has been floated. Plus - He’s from a red state so there are political consequences to him for crossing the Freedom Caucus.
I’m on team Anyone But McCarthy, but Scalise could win. McCarthy needs to to be taught a lesson.
