The last good old fashion comedy that didn’t try to teach me any lessons or lecture me that I can remember was “Vacation Friends.”
Hell, we saw Marry Me and just because there hasn’t been a romantic comedy since before Covid. It wasn’t good but it was nice to have a normal romantic comedy. Lost City too. There was another one with Sam Clafin and a Mexican actress where she reinterprets his tragic book into a raunchy romance novel. That was fine.
ETA: it’s been 2 years almost but Palm Springs was a really great one. Highly recommend.
