Many developed countries are forecasting large deficits of working age adults as compared to retirees, which poses significant and unpredictable stability challenges both socially and economically.
From that perspective, immigration is going to insulate the US from a lot of that, certainly as compared to China.
While there is some truth in that, it is stupid to simply open the floodgates to any third world warm body who would like to come to America. We need a strict merit system designed to target our specific needs not a free for all for cartels.
NYC is an immigrant landing zone and has been forever. Immigrants tend to group together so it is easy to see which ones improve their neighborhood and which one's do the opposite. Only, demprogs are too dumb or subversive to see the difference.
Immigration needs to serve America first, not create a welfare system for third world failed cultures.
