I think most people coming across the border wants what most people want, a better and safer life for their family and the are willing to work to have that life.
Its a complex situation and we can't just allow illegal aliens to set up shop because people should be citizens, but I do think we should be more welcoming because the fact is they do jobs Americans are not willing to do. Of course there are some who couldn't live in America permanently because they are not making enough.
I see it every year during sugarcane season. A bunch of them come on temp visas, they are put in small homes with about 7 or 8 living in each one, they go shop at the local Walmart every Friday after work and then send the rest of the money home.
We do have a worker shortage in this country and a lot of them coming from Mexico or South America have a better work ethic than most Americans so I think we should find away to bring some of these folks in smaller towns, but like I said, its a complex issue.
