Maryland is lucky to be within 10, 23-13.

I've been a critic of the Terps defensive coordinator Chris Cosh (a Tepper protege) for the bend, but don't break defense. But the offense is more the problem tonight. Maryland got a blocked punt around midfield and recovered a muffed punt deep, but only got 3 points total.

Plus they can't stop the Hokies running.

final 23-13. Beamer and Fridge are great friends, so VT took 3 knees to run out the last 2:00 when they could have scored again. Over 250 yards for Evans. Nothing for Maryland's Scott, who was leading the ACC in rushing.
