The scene where they go into the house with the resident women was awkward, but it made me realize that even American WWII soldiers weren’t the poster boys we all think. There had to have been some pretty disgusting people. You see American soldiers being portrayed as barbarians in some Vietnamese War movies, but not WWII very much. ‘Fury’ kind of shed light on that aspect for me.

I always skip this part. It just goes on for a while and it's uncomfortable. I'm not trashing the scene, it makes sense, but it's a chore on rewatch.
