I was a M1A2 Abrams tank commander and fought on those bastards for over 20 years.
There is something very unique about going to battle with your tank crew. You are in such close quarters. You sleep next to each other, take a shite next to each other inside the turret, etc.
It's a bond that cannot be explained and it changes you forever. Seriously, forever.
Fury does a great job of showing how a tanker has to live and their camaraderie.
