re: Anyone here ever had a wolf dog?

I ask because wife’s friend was telling us her and husband had one many years ago, had it 6-7 years. She said it just stared at you and didn’t like you petting it. I’ve always had a weird fascination with people who had pet coyotes, bobcats, etc, never heard about having a basically wolf as a pet.

Wonder if some allow you to play and pet them and how they are with other pets. Her friend didn’t remember much and she seemed like she hated it so not sure her perspective means a whole lot.
