I saw it mentioned earlier but I did t read all the replies but check your food. I have a 2 year old weim that has them. He was a little over 1 when he had the first one in the middle of the night and that will scare the. Hell out of you. We had taken him to the vet to get checked out. We had him for a year and no issues then out of the blue it happened. Figured may he had gotten into something. 1809 buck latter every test x ray scan all came back normal. He had one again a few months later. Then a couple more through the year. I talked to a retired vet and from what he told me, given the clean test and how he is back to normal soon after, it’s just some dogs have seizures and epilepsy. Someone had mentioned food and sure enough we looked back, and the only time he has had them was when we were feeding him some cheap shite becose we had ran out of his normal food. Hope that’s all it is and don’t want to jinx it but that seemed to be the culprit.
