re: We really came out flat with the playoffs on line. That’s why I’m concerned.

Let's also put some of the blame on Kelly. IMHO he set the tone at end of 1st half by not attempting to get the ball in FG range. We were at midfield (basically). Even an incompletion only gives Aggies 1 play to get 15+ yards down field. I would have taken a shot - show some aggressiveness and assertiveness instead of conceding a possession.

On top of that going for 2 down 2 scores? WTF. That made no sense whatsoever. I don't even think Daniels was ready to do anything but run. It was totally out of character for this team. They were not prepared for that call - so it seems.

As far as being flat (I agree) but sometimes when your opponent is punching you in your face every possession it can appear to be lack of effort. AtM played a GREAT game and they deserved everything they got. They made the plays and we didn't - simple version esp. at WR.

I think we'll play well on Sat. and compete much better.
This team and coaching staff still has a lot to play for including a NY6 bowl. Would love to match up w either ND or KState. I think we would dominate both if we are prepared and play the way we have been lately. Chill...

Young team, new coaching staff, lots of new situations that a lot of people have never been in. It’s ok. It’ll make 2023 and beyond solid.

Because that worked out so well against UT, right. And before you say A&M isn’t UT, we didn’t stop them the entire first half other than holding one drive to a FG.

We won't face either ND or K-State in the bowl game. It's gonna be Purdue or Illinois in the Citrus Bowl.
