Many schools are now churning out fanatical marxists.
But for the most part, the purveyors of it don't refer to it as marxism; for awhile now, it's carried the much more appealing tag "progressivism."
So she went from one propaganda mill to being associated with Hillary who herself attended basically the same type institution right down the road - Wellesley.
An institution that changed Hillary in stages from a moderate-conservative member of the Young Republicans and supporter of Goldwater to sympathizing with the '60s radicals, and winding up becoming a personal friend of Saul Alinsky - even writing her thesis on what for her were his appealing radical tactics.
Like others, two institutions who seem to have the same mission: to produce as many new Susan Sontags as possible and send them out into an unaware, trusting society as leftist "missionaries."
From Hillary's friend:
I knew plenty of Communists in those days, and I worked with them on a number of projects.
Back in the Thirties, the Communists did a hell of a lot of good work.
Anybody who tells you he was active in progressive causes in those days and never worked with the Reds is a goddamn liar.
Their platform stood for all the right things, and unlike many liberals, they were willing to put their bodies on the line.
Without the Communists, for example, I doubt the C.I.O. could have won all the battles it did.
I was also sympathetic to Russia in those days, not because I admired Stalin or the Soviet system but because it seemed to be the only country willing to stand up to Hitler.
I was in charge of a big part of fund raising for the International Brigade and in that capacity I worked in close alliance with the Communist Party.
~ From his '72 interview in Playboy. It was near the end of his life, so he must've decided it was safe to come clean.
