You’re getting a lot of downvotes but yeah I’m with you, I don’t really feel anything about A&M.

Obviously I don’t wish success for any SEC program, I was NEVER on the “S-E-C” chanting bullshite and took heat on here when that was the SOP in the mid to late 2000s. But the only program I really dislike is Auburn, but coming up as a student in the late 90s into the Saban era that’s where I cut my teeth on rivalries so nothing will ever compete with them for me.

Even with Jimbo, I know he brings a lot on himself and his contract was foolish, but I can’t bring myself to dislike the guy.

Yeah he had his rough games in BR, but I give him so much credit for those great runs in 2000, 2001, and 2003, all the way through 06 with JR and even into 07 with Flynn as it was made very clear that Crowton used his basic offense with some tweaks and he was clearly the guy that got Flynn ready for that run.

He stuck with us when Saban left and only left to go to FSU due to his connection with the Bowdens and as coach in waiting which no one could blame him for.

I also truly think Alleva fricked him in 2015,and even again in 2016, and left him hanging out to dry with the FSU admin and fan base and the guy was just looking for any way out when Woodward came calling and threw and absurd contract at him.

I think that was destined to fail but I honestly think he would have come back to BR with a completely different mindset and could have had great success here.

Happy with the way it all played out for us but I just don’t see any joy in watching him crash and burn the way he has in College Station.
