Question about smoked Mac and cheese

If I make the cheese/milk/butter tonight and refrigerate will it be fine to put on stove in morning and re-melt. I have a busy morning so trying to save time

I’d put the entire thing together night before and put in the fridge. Just throw it on the smoker in the morning.
