To anyone out there who believes ear loop/cloth masks even somewhat protect you from airborne viruses:

You're either ignorant, brainwashed or fricking stupid. Do some research to find out which of the three categories you fall into.

I've been working in chemical/biological environment for almost a quarter of a century. I undergo extensive and repetitious OSHA and company mandated safety training to learn how to protect oneself from inhalation, injection, ingestion and absorption of chemical and biological substances in every form that they exist.

The Covid virus floats in air like aerosols, and is so tiny that it passes easily through even moderately dense cloth. If that cloth is not fully sealed to your face, it just passed around the open edges anyway. Path of least resistance.

The ONLY types of mask that will actually protect from inhalation of airborne Covid particles are fully sealed, fitted N95 or P100 respirators. Or SCBA.

So, to those who believe masks work, the above is a good starting point in your research. Try to disprove it. You people saying, "well even if it helps just a little" are lying to yourselves and living in a bubble of false security. Your ear loop mask protects you about as much as your patchy neck beard.
