this obviously overstated the matter somewhat. It is easy to have a good “record,” when one endorses every candidate in every R+50 district, regardless of whether that candidate even has an opponent.

The question is whether there were any races in which a Trump endorsement actually made a difference.

Was there any race in which he picked a candidate who was losing, gave that candidate his endorsement, and cause that candidate to win?

I can think of exactly one race in which that arguably took place… JD Vance.
