SJW ruined any chance of you getting that back.
They don't even try to stop storming the field anymore.
The problem is that if the crowd wants to come on the field, there is nowhere near enough security to prevent it. If you start trying to identify and charge those for participating in a court storming you may scare a few into not participating, but you also kick your fanbase while they're excited.

And I completely agree. Personally I enjoy watching people storm the field.
There could be other mitigations in place. Like instead of cops preventing people from storming the field, they form a box or a route lined on both sides and locked elbow to elbow to allow for coaches and players to depart the field safely.
