- On the second possession each team must go for two after the touchdown

Had Bama scored a TD and missed the two point conversion, BK would have been in the exact same place after scoring a touchdown then needing a two point conversion for the win. Edit: (failed conversion would send to round 3)

It comes down to the probability of Bama scoring a touchdown on the next round. If high (defenses were tired at this point), he effectively took their two point conversion away.

BK decided to say frick you to the refs pulling more shite in OT. Coach took the game right out the grubby refs hands and went for it. The longer OT went, the greater chance for frickery.
