Bruh.

My original thought was exactly what happened - ball crossed the plane unpossessed, touchback.

At halftime I was talking to someone on the sideline who was insistent that White hat told Tucker it was a IW.

I didn't understand how there could be an IW once the ball crossed the plane as by rule it should be dead. And if an IW was called before that, it would not be a touchback.

Oh, and I support the team that benefitted from the call so I'm certainly not crying foul.

It was a weird play worth discussing.
