Any downsides to it for any of you that have it?

2.5% apy on both checking and savings. No minimum balance, just have to have direct deposit. Free debit card and checks. Plenty of free All point ATMs if you need cash. 250 sign up bonus.

Anything I'm missing?

Is there another option that's better I don't know about that pays an APY on checking that good?

I have it. No wire transfers which seems to only be an issue when I want to buy a house. I have my old checking account to handle that.

Otherwise been working fine for me for 3/4 years.

Ok thanks, I have another account I could use for that and cashiers checks.

Weird. Didn't read close enough. I guess I'll have to start caring q bit more about where I carry my balances.

Yeah, I was looking at cap one as well. But the 2.5% on checking and 3.00% with only needing to direct deposit is pretty nice. Especially with no mins for it or cap one.

I may set up a cap one as well and just move money back and forth in savings with whoever has the highest rate. I'm probably going to do a cap one anyway for my son cause he isn't old enough for SoFI, but he could get a joint with me in cap one and they offer a teen checking account he will be needing soon.

Yeah, my current brick and mortar bank I use for checking gives basically nothing on either as well. I have an ally account I use that does ok on savings, but does nothing for checking.

About to ditch the brick and mortar. Will probably keep Ally and may set up cap one cause of some benefits they have. Use Sofi for my main. Move savings money around based on highest rates.

SOFI actually killed earnings too. Stock is sitting around book value if that peaks your interest.
