You people are dumb. Vegas sets the line based on the bet. They'll move it based on how people bet. The huge spread is so people will bet on LSU moving the line more evenly if it comes to that. They don't want everyone betting on Bama.

No they don't. Small time bookies do that. The big boys know that you're using gut feelings and they're using an army of data scientists, so they'll gladly take all your money if the public decides to take the side that their model clearly says is wrong. We also literally saw this with the LSU-Tenn game. Something stupid like 90% of the money went to Tenn, and the line didn't budge.
Just to get ahead of the inevitable meltdown here, yes, we are better than anybody could have reasonably expected and are a legitimate top 20 if not top 15 team, and yes, Bama is relatively weak this year. We are still one year removed from having 39 scholarship players on the roster and they are still Alabama. If we actually pull this off, it'd be one of the biggest upsets of the entire year. Don't be surprised if Bama wins comfortably.
