Just in case you guys were unaware
mel tucker's strategy at MSU so far has been to ignore recruiting and instead go HARD at the portal
MSU takes anyone with a pulse too.
They have taken in a lot of players were were cancers in other P5 lockerrooms and thus were told to look elsewhere or were buried on the depth chart.
That's MSU's entire roster right now

That is an insane strategy.
You’d think that a guy like Tucker who coached under both Saban and Smart would be a dedicated dynamite recruiter.
The portal is a good tool to supplement your roster and fill gaps but to be wholly reliant on it is absurd.
