Anyone here have any experience with targeted Chemo

I am taking 450 mg of imatinib mesylate aka Gleveec daily for a stomach tumor likely from daily use of Xantac. (I have had IBS since my teens)
It’s not the worse form of chemo, but they want me to take it daily for at least 6 months.
Has anyone else here taken this before? I am taking before bed time not sure if that’s best . I am trying to find out what foods etc to avoid etc.
The worse for me so far is the extreme fatigue that isn’t every day but once or twice a week and the residual lack of wind or endurance.
Any advice or recommendations appreciated

Gist?
Has it been removed?
3 years is the standard adjuvant therapy. If this is neoadjuvant To shrink down I’d be surprised if 6 months was your total duration.

No way in hell I am taking this shite for 3 years. Surgery is scheduled for around February. Are you saying they are going to want my to take this after the surgery for years too

If my suspicions are correct based on the little info your provided most people who require neoadjuvant qualify to continue 3 years of total therapy.
