Sure but both make JD look like Tom Brady in terms of college passing/defense reading, at lower levels.
Hurts went in the 2nd and he has similar issues (and a comparable arm to JD). JD comes back and improves and that's a very likely draft ceiling

I agree with the hurts comp and the overall premise that Daniels will not have trouble being drafted, however Malik's offensive line was absolutely disgusting. Id take him over Daniels easily.
