This is one of the dumbest things I’ve heard. Football has evolved since the 1950’s. Players are bigger and stronger. The game is much more scientific. You want a lot of guys from lower income families to risk it all for the program (which really just means that you want your team to entertain you) instead of thinking about the life changing millions they stand to make.
LSU would beat the brakes off of any of Bryant’s teams.

It's not like these players are probably all going to have CTE. They don't give a shite about health anyways. So who cares
