No doubt the proliferation of large farm animals and their production of greenhouse gases made for a drastically warmer planet as the Neolithic Age transitioned into the Bronze Age.

So domestication of farm animals and agrarian society laid the foundation for global climate change. Yet, somehow, someway a planet overflowing with megafauna during the last glacial maximus and the thousands of generations previously had zero effects on creating a sheet of ice over a mile thick. We’re talking herds of horses, camels, bison, and mammoths that numbered in the multiple millions in N.A. alone. All taking colossal dumps all along the way, everyday and that didn’t raise the temperature of the planet a 1/10th of a degree, as a matter of fact the planet was cooling rapidly geologically speaking.
