Can we start a yearly Harry Potter thread which dissects the logical fallicies?

Started my yearly rewatch tonight as a tradition but my god the lack of logic is funnier every year
Imagine your first year of school your teacher tells you not to go down a corridor as it will lead to a horrible death, and everyone just accepts it. Not to mention there’s nothing stopping you from going in said corridor.
They teach first year wizard/witches how to fly on a broomstick by just letting them go. No slideshow first, no film study, just grab the stick and go. I expect there are multiple deaths every year from student flying up 1000 feet and falling.
What are some other classic logical fallacies in the Harry Potter world?
