In town for the first time in years with my 2 years old. Where can I park today (Thursday, with school going on) to take him to see Mike? Is there still guest parking right by the cage?

Thanks!!!

Right next to his cage. I THINK you can still get there without going through easy streets but if there is a kiosk there I think they let people in to park to see Mike.

There's a gate right before you get to the cage, so you can try asking them, but I doubt they have a clue.

I can't remember if the baseball stadium parking is commuter or not. I'd say your best best is park on Nicholson near the track.

What are easy streets? We went recently and parked what seemed like a mile away. I wish I would have just pulled up to the kiosk.

It makes streets safer for bikers and pedestrians supposedly. You have to have a pass to get on campus and they only give passes to faculty, facility workers, etc. It allows bikers to ignore any and all traffic laws they wish and lets people walk in the middle of the street while talking on there cell phones.

I could see that in some of the areas. I was really shocked to see that Dalrymple was blocked. That's just insane.

Yep, just pull up to the gate, they will let you park and go see him.

Go to the (street) gate next to the tiger cage/gift shop, tell them you're going to see Mike, and they will direct where to park close to the habitat. I think you're supposed to put some $ in a parking kiosk, so check what # parking spot you're in when you find a spot.

I take the kids there sometimes right after school, but the spoiled rotten kitty is usually napping at 3:30/4:00. He's beautiful though, even when asleep!
