You need to talk with a good Prosthodontist, a dentist that specializes in implants and dentures. My fiancée is one and she works on medically complicated cases routinely. Vast majority of general dentists are not properly trained in implant or denture dentistry, do not know how to conduct the proper case planning, and will be unable to help you if an implant fails or if there is misalignment with the finished denture. Most only care about the aesthetics, have no idea how they can hurt their patients years down the road and waste thousands of dollars.
