Jaden didn’t even play bad today

Wrong.
Quarterback play was shite.
Same as every other week. He holds the ball too long, doesn’t see the whole field, and looks to tuck and run. TN gave him the underneath stuff, which padded his stats, and they shut down his legs. The poor kid is not good enough to start in the SEC. Today proved that JD does not give us the best chance to win.

We have Florida, Ole Miss, and Alabama coming up. That kid is gonna get injured. No way he lasts through that stretch. Nuss will play soon enough.

So I think to say he played like shite is a stretch…

32/45 for 300 yards, a TD, and 38 rushing yards isn’t shite

Regardless of the context of the stats

Now if you watched the game (which we all did), it didn’t FEEL like that type of performance because the way he played within the current offensive structure didn’t propel the TEAM or the offense as a WHOLE

So by no means did he have a great game..

BUT

If we want to see the most effective TEAM, then we either need to:

A. Build this offense around Jaden
B. Swap in Nuss, who’s a better fit for the current play calling, live with the occasional poor decision, and focus on getting these receivers in opportunities where they can make plays

Unlike Kelly, Napier will have FL ready to start the game.
4 teams that have a pulse band 4 gsmes where LSU was not ready to even start the games. That is on coaching.
