Farmers lobby put up a big stink. People forget that the US still produces a lot of crops. More sunlight in the morning has always been better for plants. They were willing to go with the change after harvest but making it year round will be a deal breaker.

Plants don’t care what schedule us humans take but I would sure rather an extra hour of sleep before getting in the deer stand come winter
