Will be playing several rounds in Scottsdale in a few weeks. My only experience of playing golf in the desert was at Bali Hai in Vegas a few years ago. Almost every hole on that course is lined with hazard area that is bright white sand and whitish rocks. These hazard areas were very playable, but it was hell trying to find a white golf ball in them.

While I’m sure not every desert course has this whitish color hazard area, I’m sure The Arizona courses tend to have hazard area where a white color ball may not be easiest to find. Are there any rec’s for a specific color or model golf ball that is easier to find in the Arizona desert hazard areas?

White. Which courses are you playing? I’m in Scottsdale right now……..the first course has had some white/brown rocks outside of the grass. Which……keep your ball in play and all is well! Ha.

I just got back and played a while ball the whole trip. The rocks/sandy area in Scottsdale isn't exactly white...more brown/red so you'll be fine playing a white ball. Enjoy!

Where are y'all playing?

I play a yellow ball for desert golf for this specific reason, it's significantly easier to see the yellow vs white in the desert rocks.

Yea I'm pretty happy with the list, especially given the fact that it's overseeding season.

Quintero and We Ko Pa will steal the show.

If your pro can get you on, Mirabel is amazing

Absolutely stoked for Quintero!

Played both courses at We Ko Pa last year (phenomenal) along with TPC Stadium, Grayhawk Raptor, and Kierland.

We played that this go around. The front 9 was pretty underwhelming but the back 9 was incredible. Really enjoyed that course once I got settled in and used to the greens.
