Agreed! Cincy had a solid QB. So, that’s essentially the huge difference. Without a consistent QB how good or how bad an OC is becomes way more skewed.

Unfortunately, JD might be our best option right now and in the foreseeable future. I say this in terms of overall ability to try and manage without costly turnovers. BK certainly knows we have a razor thin margin for turnovers when it comes to playing solid teams.

Since this is year 1, it makes sense to be even more conservative than what he is accustomed to. Frankly, I just don’t think we will see the “true” offensive play calling until year 2.

You won’t see it year 2 if you have the same quarterback. Skill set will be the same.

So we are basically playing not to lose by starting Daniels. I'd rather that Kelly take a chance and give Nuss and Howard some valuable experience. We knew going into this season that we weren't winning the SEC or going to the playoffs, so why not use this season to prepare for the next?
